What is cryolipolysis?

  • The principle of cryolipolysis is to intensely cool a localized fat mass and apply strong suction pressure to induce ischemia, in order to modify the configuration of adipocytes (fat storage cells).
  • This change in cell state from normal body temperature (37°C) to negative temperatures (down to -8°C), sends a chemical apoptosis message to adipocytes (sensitive to cold) without damaging the skin or other tissues that are much less sensitive to cold). This procedure allows the crystallization of fat cells that self-destruct under the action of cold.
  • The lipid content is released, dead cells are gradually evacuated via the lymphatic system. The volume treated therefore loses fat cell density because the crystallized fat is eliminated naturally and definitively over the weeks following the session, to give way to harmonious curves.
  • This technique, which guarantees effectiveness and safety, is non-invasive and does not require any anesthesia. After a few weeks, the result is optimal and definitive

  1. Préalablement, le médecin aura visualisé la ou les zones à traiter, déterminé les objectifs de l’intervention et remis au patient un devis. Le patient assure ne présenter aucune contre-indication à un traitement de cryolipolyse.
  2. Le patient doit signer le consentement éclairé cryolipolyse.
  3. Une « Fiche d’information patient sur la cryolipolyse » vous est remis.
  1. Éviter si possible les médicaments qui augmentent le risque d’hémorragie comme les anti-inflammatoires non stéroïdiens (Aspirine, Kétoprofène, Ibuprofène…) dans les 24 heures qui précèdent le traitement.
  2. Eviter les crèmes cosmétiques et les traitements topiques sur la zone à traiter, 24 heures avant et après le traitement.
  3. Raser la zone 48/72h avant le début de la séance en cas de forte pilosité sur la zone à traiter.
  4. Ne pas traiter les zones avec des vergetures ou cicatrices récentes : risque d’aggravation.
  1. Des photos seront prises sous différents angles pour permettre de visualiser les résultats avant/après lors de la consultation de contrôle (6 à 8 semaines après la séance).
  2. Le patient est placé en position assise ou allongée selon les zones à traiter.
  3. Une lingette cryoprotectrice imprégnée de gel est appliquée sur la ou les
  4. zones à traiter (plusieurs zones peuvent être traitées simultanément).
  5. L’applicateur est ensuite positionné sur le pli graisseux, puis le refroidissement et l’aspiration sont lancés. Le bourrelet va se loger dans la cavité de l’applicateur afin d’être refroidi de façon homogène. 
  6. Au début de la séance, il est possible de ressentir une sensation de traction et un pincement de la peau lors du placement de l’applicateur qui peut parfois être désagréable durant les premières minutes du traitement. Puis le froid va progressivement engourdir la zone et les sensations de tiraillement disparaissent. 
  7. Une séance dure environ 60 minutes durant lesquelles, le patient peut se relaxer, regarder la télévision, lire ou encore écouter de la musique
  1. L’aspiration et le refroidissement s’arrêtent automatiquement à la fin du temps défini.
  2. Il est nécessaire de masser la zone traitée pendant 5 minutes environ, pour accélérer le processus de drainage lymphatique. Durant cette phase, la peau se réchauffe et cela peut engendrer une sensation désagréable voire douloureuse pour le patient.
  3. Le traitement de cryolipolyse CRISTAL PLUS® est sûr, non-invasif et peu douloureux. Vous pouvez donc reprendre vos activités quotidiennes normalement dès la fin de la séance.
  4. Des effets secondaires temporaires pouvent être observés durant les jours suivant la séance (sensibilité de la zone, rougeur, hématome, sensation de picotement, fatigue légère).
  5. Les résultats ne sont pas immédiatement visibles car les cellules graisseuses sont éliminées progressivement par le système lymphatique. À partir de 4 à 6 semaines, vous pourrez observer les résultats mais vous continuerez d’éliminer les débris cellulaires jusqu’à 3 mois après la séance.
  6. Il est recommandé d’effectuer une visite de contrôle environ 2 mois après la séance, afin d’évaluer les résultats à l’aide des photos avant/après. Cette visite epermet également de définir avec le patient si une seconde séance est nécessaire ou s’il souhaite traiter d’autres zones.

Post-treatment recommendations
