These are flare-ups of paroxysmal redness of the face and neck, with a sensation of local heat, without systemic signs lasting a few minutes. These <strong>transient and natural<\/strong> reactions can aggravate rosacea.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The contributing factors are the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong emotions, repeated stress or physical exertion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Climatic factors: exposure to the sun, wind (especially cold wind) or cold.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Temperature changes sometimes lead to thermophobia: working in front of heat sources, hot baths, saunas and hammams (any sudden thermal adaptation).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Absorption of hot drinks and foods and spicy foods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excessive and regular alcohol consumption significantly aggravates rosacea, and clearly accelerates the progression to erythrosis, rosacea and acne rosacea, sometimes severe, or even rhinophyma.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A particular clinical form is corticosteroid-induced rosacea,<\/strong> often related to strong and prolonged local corticosteroid therapy on the face. It is characterized by a major dependence on corticosteroids, a dark red or even purplish desquamative erythema, and multiple telangiectasias.   <strong>Unlike classic rosacea, the lesions can affect the perioral and\/or periocular area.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"tpgb-tab-content  \" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" >\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This is, by far, the most common form.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The diagnosis is clinical: permanent <strong>centrofacial erythema<\/strong> in adults affecting the cheeks, nose, chin, central part of the forehead, disappearing on vitropressure is associated with telangiectasias that predominate on the sides of the nose and cheeks (<strong>rosacea<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Edema<\/strong> (swelling) of the center of the face is sometimes visible. The skin may have a dry appearance with flaking. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Ocular complications <\/em>are common (30% to 50% of patients have subjective signs): dryness, conjunctivitis and blepharitis, or even keratitis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>has.  <u><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Erythrosis<\/span><\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Erythrosis is characterized by <strong>a diffuse and permanent redness.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>It affects the midfacial region:<\/strong> cheeks, nose, chin and the middle part of the forehead, sparing the area around the eyes and mouth. This location and the permanence of the redness are very typical of rosacea. They are visible just below the surface of the skin and doctors refer to them as <em><strong>telangiectasias<\/strong><\/em>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Telangiectasias isolated from the wings of the nose are not a diagnostic criterion.  <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns BlockTexte is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Papulopustalous form of rosacea<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Long confused with <a href=\"https:\/\/biolaser.fr\/en\/acne\/\">acne<\/a>, the old term &#8220;acne rosacea&#8221; must be abandoned. They are surrounded by an inflammatory halo and can appear spontaneously against a background of redness in the center of the face. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Pustules<\/strong> are often smaller than papules, and can develop outside of any infectious context. These rashes evolve in <strong>flare-ups<\/strong> that usually improve spontaneously: the redness persists, but the pustular and papular lesions regress. The nose increases in volume, is diffusely red, with dilated follicular orifices. The skin gradually thickens, becomes fibrous and the nose takes on the classic &#8220;core&#8221; appearance, without alcohol being involved. Les vaisseaux sanguins seraient porteurs d\u2019une anomalie de fonctionnement. Dans le cas de la rosac\u00e9e, il existe parfois un dysfonctionnement de ces veines qui se traduit par une stagnation du sang dans les vaisseaux de la face, entra\u00eenant en cascade la dilatation des vaisseaux, l\u2019\u0153d\u00e8me et l\u2019alt\u00e9ration de l\u2019endoth\u00e9lium, fine membrane qui recouvre l\u2019int\u00e9rieur des veines du visage. Cette constatation est un argument suppl\u00e9mentaire en faveur d\u2019une anomalie primitive de la vascularisation.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"tpgb-interactive-circle-item tpgb-circle-item-2 tp-repeater-item-i63t \" data-index=\"2\"><div class=\"tpgb-circle-icon-wrap\"><div class=\"circle-icon-inner\"><div class=\"circle-icon-title\">Cause 2<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"tpgb-circle-content-wrap\"><div class=\"circle-content-inner\"><div class=\"circle-content-title\">La\u00a0Pr\u00e9disposition g\u00e9n\u00e9tique\u00a0:<\/div><div class=\"circle-content-desc\">l\u2019anomalie se rencontre surtout chez les sujets de type nordique \u00e0 peau claire, yeux clairs et cheveux clairs (cette particularit\u00e9 explique que l\u2019on ait pu parler, pour qualifier la rosac\u00e9e, de \u00ab mal\u00e9diction des Celtes \u00bb) : en France, la maladie est tr\u00e8s rare dans le sud et beaucoup plus fr\u00e9quente au nord de la Loire.
